Here are 2 transportation providers I’ve been pleased with in Guatemala for share shuttles, private transfers, and flight arrangements: You could also consider shuttling to Antigua after your flight - what most of us choose to do - and leaving from there. Private drivers are more expensive but more convenient and comfortable plus you can pick your own schedule and make planned and unplanned stops. I don't know if the Dos Lunas shuttles do that or not. Most share shuttles make a stop in Antigua which can make the trip 5+ hours instead of 2.5-3.5 hours. Here are 2 recommended hotels just a couple of minutes from the airport that offer airport shuttles (free from 5am to 9:30pm, might be a small charge otherwise) as well as breakfast in the morning the 1st is budget, the 2nd midrange:ĭos Lunas advertises share shuttles to the lake - you could ask them about the cost and timing.
